Christy Landwehr has been active in the horse industry for over 35 years. With an undergraduate degree in public relations and speech communication from California State University Fullerton and a graduate degree in mass communication and journalism from University of Colorado at Boulder, Christy has vast experience in marketing and business. She was the Sponsorship and Youth Programs Manager for the Arabian Horse Association, a trainer for Skill Path Seminars, and the Development Director for The Urban Farm that works with at-risk youth in Denver. Currently, she is the Chief Executive Officer for the Certified Horsemanship Association, a non-profit 501(c)3 association whose purpose is to promote excellence in safety throughout the equine industry. Award-winning freelance equestrian photojournalist Nancy Jaffer produced a weekly horse sports column for The Star-Ledger of New Jersey for 43 years. It was the largest paper in the country to feature such a weekly column about the equestrian scene, in addition to Nancy’s event coverage from competitions around the world.Nancy covered nine Olympics, every World Equestrian Games since they began in 1990 and stand-alone show jumping world championships in 1982 and 1986. She also has written about more than 20 World Cup finals in show jumping and dressage, and reported on the National Finals Rodeo a number of times.After her work with The Star-Ledger wrapped up, Nancy started her own website, www.nancyjaffer.com. Whitney Allen is the President of American Horse Publications(AHP) and has been on the board since 2009. Whitney is a '98 graduate of Centenary University's equine science program and holds a Master’s degree in Sports Management from the University of Kentucky. She began working for the United States Hunter Jumper Association (USHJA) in 2005 and is currently the Managing Director of Sponsorship and Advertising. Amy Dragoo has been documenting the equine industry for the past 25 years. Located in Eastern Pennsylvania, she is minutes from eventing, dressage and show jumping Olympians. Erin is the Chief Executive Officer of Days End Farm Horse Rescue (DEFHR), based in Woodbine, Maryland, and has been with the organization since 2005. Each year alone, her role at DEFHR has given her the opportunity to work with and on behalf of hundreds of horses in transition. As a Maryland native, Erin grew up active in the horse industry and was involved with Pony Club and the Potomac Valley Dressage Association. Her career in equine welfare has also led her to become certified as an equine investigator and animal control officer and she also serves as a member of Maryland Professional Animal Workers Association, a Board Member representing Associations of The Maryland Horse Council, a Board Member representing Humane Societies of The Maryland Horse Industry Board, and an Advisory Council member of The Homes for Horses Coalition.
